| Commissioner's Welcome The purpose of this webpage is to provide a place where our members can always find the league rules, upcoming league events, and rosters. The Yahoo Group will be used for messages and ideas during the off season. Any ideas for improvement is welcome - post them at the Yahoo Group site.. |
| League Rules Keeper Rosters: Each team will keep seven players from their 2001-2002 roster. In addition, you may also keep one rookie (defined as any player who has not played a regular season NBA game prior to this year) Final keeper rosters must be submitted to the commissioner by June 30th. League Settings: 14 teams 16 maximum players on a team No maximum moves No maximum trades Rotisserie 2 day waiver time Trade deadline Thursday, March 7 2 day trade reject time (Commish may approve sooner) Daily roster changes Starting Positions: PG,SG,G,SF,PF,F,C,C, Utl,Utl,IL,IL Yahoo public league statistical categories Off Season Trades: Trades may take place all off season. After the season and before the keeper rosters are established on June 30th, you may trade any draft choice or player on your roster. You may only keep eight players even if you make two for one trades during this period. After the keeper rosters are submitted on June 30th the pool of players are fixed on each team. After that point, players may be traded, but trades must be for the same number of players. Rosters must remain at eight. The Draft: The draft will take place on Saturday, October 26th, at 7:00 am pt. The last place team in the prior season (teams are listed in order of finish), will pick first. There will be 10 rounds Although, I would prefer a last to first order in each round, it is too difficult to do off line. Therefore, we will do the Yahoo draft, switching order each round. (last to first, first to last, etc) Also the waiver position will be like Yahoo as well. Since the last place team gets to pick first, the waiver priority will be first to last. If someone can develop an offsite draft that would be more fair, but without the trouble we had in the baseball draft, I am all ears. |
