| Commissioner's Welcome The purpose of this webpage is to provide a place where our members can always find the league rules, upcoming league events, and rosters. The Yahoo Club will still be used for messages and ideas of our members, but I thought it would be difficult to always have to dig through the posted messages for the rules. Any ideas for improvement is welcome - post them in the club. |
| League Rules Keeper Rosters: Each team will keep ten players from their 2001 roster. Each team can keep up to four rookies in addition. Rookies are defined this year as players have less than 200 at bats or 100 innings pitched (starters) or 50 innings pitched (relievers) prior to the 2001 season. A reliever is defined as a pitcher with no starts ever. Keeper rosters have been submitted. League Settings: 20 teams 27 maximum players on a team No maximum moves No maximum trades Rotisserie League Scoring Type 2 day waiver time No trading deadline 3 day trade reject time - commish can approve earlier 162 maximum games 1250 maximum innings StartingPositions:C,1B,2B,3B,SS,OF,OF,OF, Util,SP,RP,P,P,P,P,P,P,DL,DL,DL,DL Daily roster changes Batter Stats: r,hr,rbi,sb,w,ba Pitcher Stats: w,s,so,h,era,wip Off Season Trades: (The Commish loves trades) Trades may take place all off season. Trades after keeper rosters were established are different from the trades made before the keeper rosters were established.. The difference is that if you trade a player for a draft choice, you won't have as many players going into the draft (you will have the extra draft choice) If you do two for ones, you don't have to drop a player off your roster (the one getting two players) In other words, the players kept will remain, only be shuffled from team to team and no other players that were dropped will be added back during the off season. All trades still need tol be e-mail to the commish by both parties. Only upcoming season draft choices may be traded. Be sure to include those in the e-mail to the Commish. The Next Season's Draft: I am not sure, but we will probably have to do an offsite draft in the Yahoo Club. The draft will be held on March 16th at 7:00 am pt The draft will be in the reverse order of finish in 2001. (Teams are listed in order of finish on this webpage.) So players taking over a team will draft in that teams finishing order Note that any rookies kept by teams will be considered their last choices in the draft. (ie - each teams gets 17 picks to make their rosters to 27, but if you have 3 rookies, you only get 14 picks. The 3 picks you lose will be at the end of the draft) |
