Well what can i say about myself? I suppose i could just bore everyone here with a long list of stats about myself but rather than do that i think i will take five minutes to explain myself in a little more detail.

My name is Richard Christopher Harris (but all my friends call me Rick), i was born on the 5th of April 1982.

I like to think of myself as a really happy outgoing kinda guy and really do like making new friends and going out with old ones.

I live in a Birmingham in a part called Erdington which is world renowned for errr.. Grannys i think :) I love living here and over the past three years it really has seem to feel like home. I used to live in Worcester (which is just south of Birmingham) for the first 16 years of my life.

So why the move? Well i suppose i really didn't have much of a choice! I was forced to leave home at 16 when i came out as gay to my family. Sad i know but this is life :)

So for those who haven't guessed... yes i am gay. Not that it is everything about my life, i hate people who judge people by something so insignificant, if i had my way there would not be the words gay, straight, bisexual etc, we would just all be people and not labels. Anyways back to my story...

So kicked out at 16 i moved to Birmingham to seek out my fortune, and i suppose i am still looking for it!!! I have made a great deal of friends over the past few years and i wouldn't change them for the world.

I have just finished my first year at Sutton Coldfield College re-taking my AS levels and hopefully this will help me furfill my life long dream of becomming a teacher. I have always wanted to teach kids with special needs and just know i would be really good at it.

Well that's what i do for a living and my ambitions, so what else is there? Well i suppose i could tell you that i am now 20 years old, which doesn't make me very happy at all!!! I have this dreaded feeling that i am going to wake up tomorrow covered in grey hairs!!
