The Diesel, a former Wilderness Captain and MVP, Diesel currently reigns as the Turkey Bowl Preseason coordinator, in addition to hisTurkey Day coordination duties.
A natural free safety with good QB and WR skills, Diesel brings all-around skills and desire to the table, but lacks the lung capacity to do more than 2 sprints back-to-back.
Rumored to be made of rusty nails and broken glass, Rich could be one of the toughest competitors to ever play a down in any of the Turkey Bowk games. Injury, pain, snow, mud and broken ankles are nothing to this champion of the game. |

Although Travis "favre" Demers will miss his second consecutive Turkey Bowl, his gutsy play and athletic ability have set high standards for this annual competition. Taking a tough physical beating while still dominating the competition in Turkey Bowl IV, has earned him a place among legends.
Currently residing in Oregon, Mr. Demers is rumored to be on his way back east in late December. It's quite possible Mr. Demers could appear in the lesser publicized 2004 Kwanza Bowl.
A former employee of ESPN, look for Mr. Demers on your TV one of these days....................... |

Well what can we say? He's not as quck as he used to be. Richie "Van Halen," one of the founders of the Turkey Bowl, finds himself in a similar situation to Jerry Rice of the Oakland Raiders, he's getting up there in age, the hair line keeps moving back, but can still contribute.
Receiving MVP honors in Turkey Bowl V and IBM's OnDemand Bowl III, Richie can still gun the ball as well as make the key plays for his squad.
Holding down the QB and WR positions this pre-season, Richie currently dominates the competition. Another peak performance can be expected at this year's Turkey Bowl. |
