Inaugural Member of Turkey Bowl Hall of Fame Elected
Michael �Magic Man� Cassidy become first ever player elected into the hall
Dedication to sport and drink, determination to play severely impaired and the focus to tackle his own teammates, made the �Magic Man� a shoe in to the hall of fame. Currently serving our great country abroad as a technician for the USAF, the �Magic Man� has been missed during the past four Turkey Bowls.
�The man drinks and plays like no other, a true legend,� Brian �Big Daddy� Hawe told ESPN Radio. �No liquor, beer or incarceration could stop this man.�  

Most will recall the �Magic Man�s� historic, game-changing performance in Turkey Bowl III back in 2001.Severely intoxicated, impaired and sporting ache on his face from passing out in a camp fire, �Magic Man� delivered a performance that rivals both the �Music City Miracle� and �Immaculate Reception.�

Hanging out the passenger window of a car, yelling incoherently, the �Magic Man� approached the field of play still drinking from the night before. During one of the first plays from scrimmage the �Magic Man� began tackling his own teammates and driving them into the dirt.
�I�ve never seen anything like it. The man is a warrior, said Texas Tech coach Bobby Knight. �I tossed two chairs on to the field and keyed three cars in his honor.� 

Michael �Magic Man� Cassidy defeated other Hall of Fame candidate Travis �Favre� Demers to be the first inductee ever.
