Number: 47 Title: Sailor New York! Type: Original Fiction ---------- Synopsis: ---------- Kat Dogson wanted to be a normal high school girl. Despite the fact she wasn't actually born in Japan, things were going well for her. That is, if that annoying James kid in the trench coat and his seedy friend, Ed, who liked explosions WAY too much would stop bothering her. Then, along comes this raptor that talks and claims to be her long-lost guardian from the New York Kingdom, an ancient kingdom that once ruled the solar system. Not that she believes this, but when old enemies start attacking, it's time to stick with what you know... ---------- Cast: ---------- Kat Dogson: She never wanted to be a magical girl, never wanted to guard the memory of that mystical place known as New York, until the day it could be revived and let peace flourish throughout he world... but she fights on, because frankly, she would be dead. Numerous evil-doers of all types attack her on an almost daily basis, and she handily takes all comers. Other than an unusually short temper with local college students James and Ed, and having to deal with a chamelion-like raptor that thinks it has to protect her 24/7, life is all right for this pony- tailed wonder girl. James Rahn: The trench coated pervert wierdo with a heart of gold. He doesn't actually get any girls in the sack, just annoys them slightly. He's a master of weapons and such, and kicks major ass, but prefers the fanservice shots Kat's transformation offers him. After a few episodes, he begins to get infatuated with the girl, but let's face it--she's underaged. Ed Flemming: The mysterious man in the shadows, Ed likes things that go boom and is planning on being a chemistry major. His friend's perverted side is embarassing and his violent side is just plain frightening, which leaves Ed spending a lot of time trying to talk to Kat. After a while, he becomes a go-between for the two, but then decides he can help Kat's cause by making her weapons and armor... Lisa Goben: The second of the three legendary warriors, Lisa is the only person known to have ever beaten James in a fair fight. They two used to live next door and have a lot of history. Pretty happy-go-lucky kind of girl. She thinks Ed's love of big explosions it 'cute' and can't fathom why Kat is jealous of her. Carrie Jamison: A globe-trotting mad-woman, Carrie is more trouble than Ed and James combined. Usually it takes both Ed and James to keep her from blowing up most of Tokyo when she starts using her magical attacks. That's right, she's the third and final legendary warriors. She doesn't know much about the lost New York, and doesn't much care for it, either, but she does like to kick some bad-guy ass when the occasion permits... Daisy Cortina: Wants to be a doctor when she grows up. Daisy and Kat have known each other since practically the beginning of time. Playing the damsel in distress, Daisy is often left with a short fuse, but she's a nice person, really. Just ignore the axe she's holding and you'll be fine. John Barker: (raptor) Dave Handleton: The lord and master of the four evil entities that are trying to kill off the last reminants of New York. He's not really a bad guy, but he's still a little ticked off about an error in central accounting that had him in a %5,000 tax bracket. It takes an apology from Kat herself to assauge him, and then he's looking for a new job. Taking over the world peacefully can't be all that hard.... Hiroshi Takona: The truly evil and most truly pitiful of the four evil guys. Back when he was a baby, him and James were in the same nursery. James wouldn't quit crying and Takona's held a grudge ever since. In the epilogue, he's still trying to kill James, even though Kat's friend, Daisy, has a thing for him and he doesn't want to upset her and Kat by eliminating James. Sigh. Durankov D: ----------
