Number: 17 Title: A Tale of Two Evils Sub Title: A Song of the Soul Altiverse sequel: The Fall of Micro$oft Type: Original / Fan fiction Song of the Soul (unknown version) ---------- Synopsis: ---------- This one should be obvious, given the sub title. Hey, it's okay to cut loose and have fun every now and then. Besides, the huge DBZ-esque battle against a Bill Gates that is part robot, can fly and throw fireballs is just parody, right? ---------- Scenes: ---------- "GOD! DAMN! IT!" Hikaru shouted, his voice overflowing with anger, his face twisted into a visage of rage that promised extreme and unrestrained violence to anyone that bothered at that moment. Which is why the only reponse came from three rooms away. "Windows crashed again?" Asked Rei, safely behind the counter. Well, relatively safe. "That's it." Hikaru proclaimed, getting to his feet, glaring at the Blue Screen of Death before him. "We're taking down Microsoft..." ---------- "Are you sure you want to do this, Hikaru?" Hikaru looked at sensei Jack, his hands clenched into fists at his side. Asuka stood next to him, cooing into his ear to try and calm him down. "They've lied to the government, they've lied to their 'customers' and they've made my gaming time a living Hell. It's time they paid." "And what, exactly, do you want to do to make them pay?" Sensei Jack said, folding his arms over his chest. "Well, something evil, but we can't kill anyone. I don't want..." Hikaru shivered, visions from that terrible nightmare flowing through his head. "Gates must go down. He's EVIL!" "But I thought _I_ was evil!" Jack shouted, aghast. "Jack, you _are_ evil to us, a special kind of evil. But Gates is... well, you know." "I don't, but I trust your judgement, Hikaru." That seemed to calm the boy down. Asuka threw an arm around his shoulders, but looked at Jack. "Well, let's be bad asses just this once, Sensei. We'll get 'em for good. Put an end to their HQ in Redmond and corner the market. There's a huge Linux crowd waiting in the wings for something like this to happen." "VIVA LA REVOLUTION!" Rei suddenly shouted, startling everyone. "I understand." He smiled, not the kind of sweet everything-is-right- with-the-world, peaches-and-flowers-and-bows-and-kitties way. It was more like the I'm-going-kill-somebody-and-grin-while-doing-it way. "So why were we standing around here?" Hikaru asked. "We should get everyone else to help us. We don't want to hog all of the fun." Said Psycho Sensei from behind the kids. They ducked as the predictable spread of throwing knives whooshed over their heads. Jack stood his ground, calmly deflecting the tiny blades into some helpless trees. "Gather the crew." Hikaru muttered to himself, not even caring that his life had been put at risk by Psycho Sensei. "Sounds like a plan, Jack." "Let's move." Rei said. -------------------------------------------------------------------------
