Number: 09 Title: TERMINAL ASSASSIN^2 Type: Fan fiction Song of the Soul (old version) Chronicles of War Ties Unbroken Revolutionary Girl Utena Illusions of G.O.D. Song of the Soul has since been revised NOT to include Ranma 1/2 characters. It is original fiction. Ties Unbroken is original fiction of the magical girl type. Not RKU, another story where there's assassins in the Utena universe. ---------- Synopsis: ---------- TERMINAL ASSASSIN^2 The perrenial assassin show telecast throughout the DTF. Has a massive cult following, and no one knows who exactly produces the show... TA^2 is about a group of superb pirate/assassins roaming space in their ship, the TERMINAL ASSASSIN^2. They are there for different reasons, but one thing always brings them together: Killing people for fun and profit. ---------- Cast: ---------- The Crew of the TA^2: Hikaru "Don't you dare call me Hikaru, Hikaru-chan, Gos, Gosunkugi, Gusunkugi Hikaru, or Hikaru Gosunkugi" Gosunkugi. Reason for being here: You probably don't want to ask him. Favorite quote: "I'll explain it to you _again_..." Abilities: Things get blown up around him. He takes damage but doesn't understand the meaning of the word quit. He's _never_ distracted by anything. Character: Total badass. He explains things in two ways: excessively violent blunt explanations, and long-winded explanations that are so subtle practically no-one understands them. He usually gets through five or six words before he's punching your teeth through the back of your head if he's being blunt. He's been known to start city-wide riots to kill time and the last person who fired a gun at him had to knock down five skyscrapers, shoot up three military helicopters and demolish an orphanage to get away. He's also a classical 'Angsty Bushonin' character, though no one can say exactly why. --- James "The Master" Rahn. Reason for being here: He was bored. Favorite quote: "This is NOT my fault!" (well, not his _favorite_...) Abilities: Powerful fighter. Impossibly good shot. Inevitable philosopher. Unpredictable and apparently quite insane. An ardent trilophile with a penchant for ranting. His astonishing tactical insight and inexhaustable reserves of dumb luck are second only to his ability to make the audience totally bust a gut (and the rest of the cast lower their heads in shame) whenever he's on screen. Character: He never seems completely serious and always has something to hide. He prefers to use his own crazy fighting method with ridiculous move names, but it is effective, so what can you say? He also takes a lot of flack for 'bad things' happening, but he does always succeed as well. --- Biiko "Let's hurt somebody." Kurasawa. Reason for being here: Searching for her lost love and a place in the universe. Favorite quote: "Apply the pain..." Abilities: When in normal form, advanced Judo. When in Magical Girl form, magical attack/defense, two powerful multi-purpose handguns, excellent boost in all abilities, nano-wire gloves, cool sunglasses, invincible trenchcoat. Character: Despite her 'aids' in the abilities area, even the normal Biiko is a scary character. On the outside she appears a perfectly normal eighteen year old, but inside she's a calculating, take-no-prisoners bitch who isn't above a little cheating or global genocide to get her way. Her tactics sometimes seem just as nutty as James', but she is usually willing to explain them right away... time permitting. Not much is known about the mystery guy she's looking for. --- Seth "Chosen One" Grayson. Reason for being here: He's searching for the crossing point of 'the Phoenix and the Dragoon.' Favorite quote: "It's time... to party." Abilities: Beyond good martial artists. Electrical aura, flies, ki blasts and geurellia tactics. Character: His gold eyes are constantly covered by sunglasses. He came across something called the 'Staff of Miracles,' but never uses it in battle. He hates space and is the only mechanic who will actually work on the _TERMINAL ASSASSIN^2_. He doesn't say much and tends to use overly-simple words when he does talk. This leads people to think him rather dim, but nothing could be further from the truth. He's probably the only sane genius on the ship, but on this ship, that ain't sayin' much. --- Anthi "Key" Himemiya. Reason for being here: She'd rather not say, though she drops hints that she's a jilted lover, shook up over something involving her significant other. She appears to be running from, rather than toward, her goal. Favorite quote: "[Good Morning.]" (or practically anything in brackets, though saying "[Milk]" has been known to reduce her to tears...) Abilities: Excellent with the handguns and a master of Aikido and Ju-jitsu. She's fast, inventive and athletic, and knows almost as many tricks as James. Character: Anthi is a bit of a mystery. She cleverly steers conversation away from anything about herself and is never forthcoming. She sometimes seems like a human machine with no emotion, though she can frequently be found ruminating in the training room. Despite her withdrawl from society and even from her only comarades in this lonely universe, she continues to seek a melloncollie solitude for reasons that elude the rest of the cast. ---------- Plans: ---------- The Production Schedule for TERMINAL ASSASSINS^2 is an unpredictable one, and rumor has it the script doesn't even have a climax for the plot, yet the series remains immensely popular in the DTF ranks. The rabid fans wait eagerly for the next episode to broadcast (whenever that may be), and will wait _any_ period of time to see the fantastic conclusion to this legendary story. ---------- The Plot: ---------- What plot?
