[NI202] 5 children went to Turtle Mountain with Bercier

[NI259] His Mother was allowed to pick blueberries on the new train grade in Revelstoke as the trains were supposedly not running. She had to jump off the rail grade, down the mountainside, as an unexpected train arrived. This caused her to give premature birth to Reg. He weighed just over two pounds and was kept in a cigar box, lined with cotton, in the bun warmer till he could grow strong enough.

[NI265] Boarded teachers for the school on his land. Of these, three married his sons.

[NI275] He was a trained Engineer from England that came to Canada to build the C.P.R..
As he worked he bought and sold land, including the parcel at Humboldt. After working his way west to Revelstoke, he returned to Humboldt to live on his parcel. It was part of the future town and had on of the first telegraph stations on it. He went off to Costa Rica to build a railway and contracted a sickness that eventually killed him when he returned to Humboldt. He was 35 when he died and had three children.

[NI276] Hannah was born in England and worked as a domestic servant in Workington. She married Barnes and went to Canada. After having three children her husband died causing to move to Busby, AB to be with her brother-in-law Barney and his family where they lived . She eventually moved back to Humboldt to marry Mr. Holder with whom she had a daughter Elsie. For some reason, Holder went crazy and violent and was placed in North Battleford mental hospital. Hannah was talented on the piano and played for the silent movies while her first husband ran the projector. There are many pictures of her and her ancestors that her oldest Reg had kept.
