About me.

Clique aqui para a verso em portugus.

I was born in Curitiba, Brazil, in 1968. I'm Master of Science in Physics but work at computer area, where I had more than 13 years of experience.

My first contact with a computers was in 1982 in a tecnology fair, about that time nobody uses the word informatics. The first personal computer I've met was a Sinclair clone (produced here in Brazil). I've made the Eletronic Technician High School and started to work in 1987. I fix there Apple II and IIe similar computers. After that I've worked at a Infromatics company belonged to a banking group (both don't exits anymore). At this job I've got a better contact with many kinds of computers and peripherals. I've quit to start my MSc graduantion.
My intrest for computer graphics was started in 1989. In 1990 I've boght my first Amiga computer (A500) to replace my MSX alike computer. Few years later I've replaced the A500 for a A1200 (I still have both in working conditions). Because of the MSc course I've bought a PC (a p-75) and now I have a AMD 64 X2.

I've learned computer languages by my self and I'm not a programming expert. My first programming language was basic, because of Sinclair first touch. After I've learned Z-80 assembler at the technician school. Soon after I've learned C and I liked. The power of structured language mixed with a low level language as assembler is great. By influence of friends and lack of a good C compiler I've learned Pascal, didn't liked. Pascal don't let you make mistakes but don't give you freedom.

Let make my self clear. I do like physics! If not I wouldn't done The graduation and a post graduation courses. But I like informatics a lot! More than physics. My mainly concerns are in computer graphics and programming (that I intend to use for CG and gamming software).
