He lived His Life as mortal man,
He walked His path and did not sin.
He did it once and that for all,
He made a plan and fulfilled the law.
He lay down His life for all of man,
That thru His love we might stand.
To have a life much more complete,
To live in love and sin defeat.
He lives with in the heart of man,
To lead us on and help us stand.
To guide our steps down lifes road,
To hold us up and share our load.
He made a way for you and me,
From the cross He set us free.
So please don't take His life in vain,
Live for Him and honor His name.
Thank thee God for thy Son,
Help me in honor my race run.
To live my life before thy eyes,
And lift thy Son way up high.
To shine thy light unto the world,
Showing the way to those gates of pearl.
Help me O'Lord thy servant be,
That people will see, He Lives in me.
