All that they see and behold in their sight.
All adults are perfect and good as they can be.
In the eyes of a child life is simple and free.
For if it ever fades it is hard to retrieve.
They will give it gladly to everyone they know.
Keep the trust going so it stays with them as they grow.
Never do a thing my friend to dim it in their eye.
They will always depend on you so let them know they can.
Let them know they have someone to be a life long friend.
But as life makes twists and turns the trust begins to die.
