Golden Times: Beginning a Lifetime of Memories
Once I have heard a
song:
There's a time of the day when the sun is going down
That's the golden time of day
It's a time that the sun turns a gold all around
At the end of the day when the wind is soft and warm
Don't make the flowers sway
Ooh that's the golden time of day
When you feel deep inside all the love your looking for
Like the time of the day when the sun is going down
That's the golden time of day
As listening to this song, as the golden rays of the sun slant through the leaves of the trees outside my room in the dusk, as the beginning of the fall that always is full of excitement and expectation, as I look at the people rush to and fro to make live, as the accidental meeting of old friend, I wish that I could tell them what a real golden time is. What many people do not yet realize is that whatever their goals in life may be, no matter how successful they may become, there is one tie that will always bind them: the love for the life.
Many people worry about the future. That keeps them from being present in the now. When they worry, they left life in nonexistent woes and project their fears into a future time and place that has not yet appeared on the horizon. When you cannot see the forest for the thick fog that has descended on your vision--for times of illness and despair, when the many tasks of life seem overwhelming, I think we should learn to forget and learn to love the life. When you possess this kind of love, there will be always golden time no matter wherever, whenever.
Many people remember their teenage period as golden time. Why? Comparing with the world of being an adult, teenagers are still under the protection of their parents and the law. They don't need to worry about employment and economic problems because most of them are still studying at school and depending on their parents. Besides, they have no family burden. So, this is the 'Golden time' for teenagers to explore their own talents, interest, weakness, and strength, even try to do anything they ever do. Teenagers have the right to enjoy school life, meeting different people, taking part various activities without any worry. They still have an unlimited potential, they are more creative than the elder generation and always show keen on many things. It is because everything is so flesh for them. Then there will be a question for every adult: How can we keep our golden time like teenagers do?
For me, I choose to keep young mind for all my life: Enjoy life and always keen on everything ... I think my choice is reasonable, don't I?
