Rich Mueller Motorsports

Rich Mueller was born June 19th 1966 in Jacksonville Illinois. He grew up in the country near a little town called Bluffs Illinois. He was not a farm kid, although his family did raise horses and sheep. They also had raspberries and numerous garden items. During his childhood he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandparents who lived in a house right next door.Since he lived in the country he was able to walk over the hill into the woods and go hunting and fishing alot. While he was young, his parents worked at a place called Mobil Chemical.

When he was 18 years old, Rich and his parents moved to Chapin, Illinois. Rich's first job was working for Burrus Seed. Since he went to school most of the time and played football, basketball and was on the track team, he usually just had a job during the summer at a place called Collision Construction. After he graduated from high school, Rich started working at a business called Bill's Star Market In Jacksonville. He then went on to work in sales for Gateway Foods out of Lacrosse, Wisconsin. After that, he managed one of their corporate stores in Macomb, Illinois where he currently resides and works for Gentry Motor Company as a Salesman and a Sales Manager.
Rich started his racing career in 2003 at Macomb Speedway, when he and a co-worker bought a mustang for $1.00. He and his co-worker took turns driving the race car. In the 4 years he has been racing, rich has managed to cruise to 27 feature wins and numerous heat victories, along with 2 Track championships. Over the years Rich has been given the chance to work with many charities. Rich enjoys spending time with his wife Kim and son Brendan. He also enjoys hunting, bowling, golfing, fantasy sports and of course most of all RACING!!!!
