Quebec [Sept 2000] who has a long interest in families of Burnham. The clock tower of Burnham-on-Crouch was built in memory of his ancestor Laban Sweeting! He notes that in 1780s and 1790s there were baptisms not recorded in the church Registers, he has his ancestors baptism certificates Also of note is that 1754-75 Registers were destroyed by fire.Richmond

mid 19thC mainly about Burnham which was given to the Essex Record Office
by a member of the Hawkins family, some pieces are dated, but all are in
year order and it is possible to determine the year.
