Anti-Sway Bars
My dad bought the truck new and when checking the options list decided the only options necessary were the V8 engine and the large rear window.  He even selected an AM only radio without channel push buttons!  (I guess that's why the truck cost only $2,000 with tax and license.)  After all, he wanted a truck, not a car and anti-sway bars didn't serve a utility function.  I had always liked the way the truck rode but didn't like the excessive body lean when cornering.  So, I decided upgrading the truck suspension was a 'good thing' and installed anti sway bars front and rear.
The front bar is mounted using standard GM sway bar perches, polyurethane bushings and standard link ends.  I had to locate and drill a through hole in the lower control arm for the sway bar link.  Supposedly, later model trucks have pre drilled mounting holes already properly positioned.
The rear bar was a kit that required some modification to work correctly.  I made an intermediary bracket to properly integrate the sway bar to the trailing links.
The truck now handles like a slot car!

I will include pictures of the rear sway bar and mounts at a later date.  The combination of the two provide awsome handling.
