black mac is a nice pup we kept off diamond. he is very well built, and is very muscular. he has very good speed and is very game. he has an excellant nose and hunt to him. he placed 4th on the bench at the trish. tri co 3 day hunt (logan's fox pen houlka, miss.) at 10 months old. he placed in the top 20 derby hounds in the field and was probably the youngest hound there. he was wanting to go the third day. black mac placed 1st derby male on the bench and cat. 6th in hunting in the central fla. dog hunters assoc. one day field trial held on the outside in the ocala national forest. this was the first time he had ever been run on the outside. he placed 7th derby h.g.a. and 2nd in speed and drive, and 9th derby male on the bench at the fla. west coast one day field trial held in the 1000 acre fox pen at st. george, ga. (291 hounds). he placed 3rd derby male on the bench at the foxhaven enclosure speed and drive hunt. we were proud of him. all of his littermates are doing excellant. hounds in his 5th generation are faulkner's old charter, cullison's rose, adkin's stubby raider, lofton's sam, wall's ringo dixie, wright's lee mar, canoy's big john, canoy's prissy, ch. tommy's don c., ch. tom t. taylor, ch. kennedy's top hat, ch. martin's red wasp.
