Born in Greenwood, DE on September 21, 1940 Dick began his ministry in 1963. He and his wife Glenda have served the church in many varied positions. In his early ministry they served as pastor in East Tucson, Mesa and East Phoenix, Arizona. He later served as YCE Director in the states of Arizona, Virginia, Tennessee, and South Carolina. In 1980, Dick was elected as the Assistant General Director of YCE and General Director in 1984. In 1992-98, he served as the Director of the Western School of Christian Ministries. His ministry appointments include service as administrative bishop of Pennsylvania and currently Virginia. The General Council elected him as a member of the Executive Council in 2000 and 2002. His other areas of ministry include currently the Chairman of the Editorial and Publications Board; member of the General Study Commission (1982-84); Chairman, Church of God Family Life Commission; member of the NAE, Christian Education Commission; and many other boards and committees. His ministry was one of total dedication and commitment to the Great Commission. His varied talents included gifts as a minister of the gospel in camp meetings, conferences, and conventions around the world, as well as, author of several books and contributing writer to numerous publications. He and Glenda have two sons, Todd & Shaun Davis. Brother Davis will be missed.

Brother Roy Phillips was the church clerk of the Dante Church of God when I pastored the church 1977-81. Brother Phillips was one of the most godlly men that I have known. A true representation of what a Christian should be. Everyone that knew him loved Brother Roy Phillips
