| Aleksandr Volkov was selected as a cosmonaut in 1976. The first of his three spaceflights came in 1985 when he served as the research cosmonaut on Soyuz T-14, the fourth mission to the Salyut 7 space station. Next, he commanded the Mir-3 mission which began in 1988; it was launched on Soyuz TM-7. His final mission was as commander of Soyuz TM-13 which was the Mir-10 mission in 1991. Volkov retired in 1998 having logged 391 days in space. My Collection: This is an autographed 3x5 unlined notecard. |
