Donald A. Thomas
Donald Thomas was selected as an astronaut in NASA's thirteenth class (1990).   His first mission came in 1994 when he served as a mission specialist on STS-65.  Next, he was a mission specialist on the 1995 flight of STS-70.  His third mission was as a mission specialist on STS-83 in April of 1997 but due to a fuel cell failure on the shuttle, this mission had to be ended earily.  In July of 1997, STS-94 was flown as a refly of STS-83 with the same crew so once again Thomas was a mission specialist.  He has logged 43 days in space during his four missions.

My Collection: This is an official NASA 8x10 litho which Thomas has autographed and inscribed.  The unique feature of this autograph is that the inscription states that "ISS-6" was one of Thomas's missions.  This is unique because Thomas was removed from the ISS Expedition 6 crew due to a medical issue with long-duration space flight before the mission flew.  He never served on board the International Space Station.
