Jerry L. Ross
Jerry Ross was selected as an astronaut in NASA's ninth class (1980).  So far he has flown on a record tying seven space shuttle missions.  In 1985, he served as a mission specialist for the STS-61-B mission.  Next he was a mission specialist on STS-27 which flew in 1988.  His third mission was STS-37 on which he served as a missions specialist in 1991.  Next he flew as the payload commander on the 1993 flight of STS-55.  His fifth mission came in 1995 when he served as mission specialist on STS-74.  He was also a mission specialist on STS-88 in 1998 and later on STS-110 in 2002.  During his seven missions, he has logged 57 days in space.
