Yuri V. Romanenko
Yuri Romanenko was selected as a cosmonaut in 1970.  His first flight was in 1977 when he commanded Soyuz 26; this was the first resident mission to the Salyut 6 space station.  Next, he commanded Soyuz 38 in 1980 which was the seventh Intercosmos mission.  He made his final flight into space commanding Soyuz TM-2 in 1987, this was the Mir-2 expedition mission.  Romanenko retired in 1988 having spent 430 days in space.
