| Richard N. Richards | ||||||||
| Richard Richards was selected as an astronaut in NASA's ninth class (1980). He has made four flights into space on board the space shuttle. He flew as a pilot during the STS-28 mission in 1989. Next, he commanded the 1990 flight of STS-41. His third missions was STS-50 in 1992 which he also commanded. His final flight was as commander of STS-64 in 1994.
