| Julie Payette | ||||||||
| Juile Payette was selected by the CSA in 1992. In 1996, she was selected by NASA to recieve training as a shuttle mission specialist. She made her first flght into space onboard the STS-96 shuttle flight in 1999 as a mission specialist. Currently, Payette is an active astronaut with 9 days of space flight experience.
