| Soichi Noguchi | ||||||||
| Soichi Noguchi was selected as an astronaut by NASDA in 1996. He also qualified to fly with NASA as a mission specialist in 1996. He has yet to fly in space. Prior to the Columbia accident, he was scheduled to fly as a mission specialist on STS-114, which would have launched in April of 2003. It is unknown how the accident will impact when he will fly.
