James H. Newman
James Newman was selected as an astronaut in NASA's thirteenth class (1990).  He has flown in space four times.  His first mission came in 1993 when he flew on STS-51 as a mission specialist.  Next, he was assigned to STS-69 as a mission specialist and flew in 1995.  His third mission was STS-93 which was launched in 1998, once again he was a mission specialist.  Most recently, he served as a mission specialist on the 2002 flight STS-109.  Newman currently hold's a NASA management possition in Russia and has 43 days of space flight experience.
