| Pamela Melroy was selected as an astronaut in NASA's fifteenth class (1995). She has been lauched into space twice. Her first mission came in 2000 when she served as the pilot for STS-92, the historic 100th shuttle flight. Next, she was assigned to be the pilot of STS-112 which flew in 2002.
