Frederick H. Hauck
Frederick Hauck was selected as an astronaut in NASA's eighth class (1978).  He flew on three shuttle missions during his astronaut career.  He made his first voyage into space in 1983 when he served as a pilot on board STS-7.  In 1984, he was made his second shuttle flight serving as commander of STS-51-A.  His final mission came in 1988 when he commanded STS-26 which was the first shuttle flight following the Challenger accident.  Hauck retired from the astronaut corps in 1989 having logged 18 days in space.

My Collection: I have two autographs of Frederick Hauck in my collection.  Above is an official NASA 8x10 litho of the STS-26 crew which he as autographed and inscribed (he is in the front row on the right).  Below is a water survival cover from 1978 which he has signed (as four other astronauts), a close-up of his signature is below the cover.
