| Viktor V. Gorbatko | ||||||||
| Viktor Gorbatko was selected as a cosmonaut in 1960. During his career, Gorbatko would serve on three space flights. His first mission came in 1969 when he was the research cosmonaut onboard Soyuz 7. Next, he commanded the 1977 flight of Soyuz 24. This was the second resident crew mission to the Salyut 5 military space station. His final mission was in 1980 when he commanded Soyuz 37; this was the 6th mission of the Interkosmos program. Gorbatko retired in 1982 having spent 30 days in space. My Collection: This is an autographed 3x5 unlined notecard. |
