| Yuri Glazkov was selected as a cosmonaut in 1965. His only mission came in 1977 when he served as the flight engineer on Soyuz 24. Soyuz 24 was the second resident crew of the Salyut 5 military space station. Glazkov retired in 1982 having spent 17 days in space during his only mission.
