| Guy S. Gardner | ||||||
| Guy Gardner was selected as an astronaut in NASA's ninth class (1980). He would go on to fly two missions into space. His first mission assignment was as the pilot of STS-27 in 1988. He would make is final flight in 1990 when he was given the job of serving as the pilot for STS-35. Gardner retired from the astronaut corps in 1991 having spent 13 days in space.
