Konstantin P. Feoktistov
Konstantin Feoktistov was selected as a cosmonaut in 1964.  His only mission came in 1964 when he served as a research cosmonaut on the historic Voskhod 1 flight.  This was the first mission that carried a muti-man crew.  Feoktistov was chosen for this mission because he was a civilian who had been a lead designer of Soviet spacecraft.  At the time, their was a push to put more than just the military in space within the Soviet Union.  Feoktistov retired in 1987 having logged 1 day in space.

My Collection: This is an autographed and dated photograph of Feoktistov.
