| Nancy Currie was selected as an astronaut in NASA's thirteenth class (1990). He has flown four mission on board the space shuttle. Her first mission assignment was to the STS-57 shuttle flight in 1993, she served as a mission specialist. Then she served as a mission specialist on STS-70 in 1995. She made her third space flight on the first International Space Station assembly flight which was STS-88, once again she was a mission specialist. Currie's most recent assignment was as a mission specialist on the STS-109 mission in 2002. She has spent 41 days in space.
