Kenneth D. Cockrell
Kenneth Cockrell was selected as an astronaut in NASA's thirteenth class (1990).  He has flown into space on five occassions.  His first mission assignment came in 1993 when he served as a mission specialist for the STS-53 shuttle flight.  In 1995 he flew as the pilot of STS-69.  His first command came in 1996 when he commanded the longest shuttle mission in history (17 days, 15 hrs) designated STS-80.  He also commanded STS-98 in 2001, and STS-111 in 2002.  He spent 64 days in space during these missions.
