Joseph P. Allen
Joseph Allen was selected as an astronaut in NASA's sixth class (1967).  His first space flight came in 1982 when he served as a mission specialist on board STS-5, this was the first operational mission of the space shuttle program.  He made his second and final space flight in 1984 when he flew on STS-51-A as a mission specialist.  Allen retired from NASA in 1985 having spent 13 days in space.

My Collection: This is an 8x10 photo showing of an EVA during the STS-51-A mission, Allen has autographed and inscrined the photo.
