Aleksandr P. Aleksandrov
Aleksandr Aleksandrov was selected as a cosmonaut in 1978.  During his career, he served on two space station missions.  On his first mission he served as the flight engineer on Soyuz T-9 in 1983.  This was the 2nd resident crew of the Salyut 7 Space Station, it lasted a total of 5 months.  His other mission was in 1987 when he was the flight engineer on Soyuz TM-3.  His job on this mission was to join the 2nd resident crew on the Mir Space Station; one of the original crewmembers had become too sick to stay on the station and Aleksandrov was sent to replace him mid-mission.  He was on Mir for about 5 months.  Aleksandrov retired in 1993 having logged 309 days in space.

My Collection: This is an autographed and inscribed photo card.  Aleksandrov has autographed it on the front in black (right) and then autographed, inscribed, and corrected the bio on the back (left) in blue.
