The first item to be completed in the Nursery was the
closet, thanks to The Container Store for their annual shelving sale (September). We are awaiting the annual "Elfa" sale to complete with drawers. |

Next it was time to paint the nursery. This is was it looked like before we started. |

We decided to paint the nursery during an extended weekend (October). |

This is the color of the nursery after we had completed painting the whole room. |

Next to be installed was a ceiling fan (I think this
is a requirement in Texas). The ceiling fan was actually installed while painting to help with paint fumes. |

This is the beginning of our project to create a Picket Fence in the nursery. |

The Picket Fence will even include a door with hinges, latch, and handle. |

We decided to check out USA Baby and found a crib that we liked (November). |
 |
The corner of the Picket Fence was completed to include corner shelves. |
 |
We were finally able to complete the closet with drawers during the annual "Elfa" sale (December). |

We had someone paint a mural in the nursery complete with a tree and grass (January). |

Once the mural was painted, I was finally able to complete the Picket Fence. |

The Picket Fence is complete even with a gate...next project is the bookcase. |
