I stayed up way too late last night playing backgammon online with my new friend.The snow that worried me Friday night outside Cosine never stuck on the ground, although you could see the peaks of the mountains had received a nice dusting of it. We had a beautiful weekend. Then this morning it started snowing and as of Tuesday night it has not yet let up.
I had a phone call today from the Canadians who are producing a documentary on Manos: The Hands of Fate. They want to interview me when they shoot in El Paso on March 1. Mr. DeMille, I'm ready for my close-up.
In today's mail: a CD from nothinbutdablues.com, a letter informing me I won a year's supply of Carnation Instant Breakfast, and a $25 gift card for Victoria's Secret. Life is so good.
