I was at King Soopers on my lunch hour getting some Kaukauna cheese spread with a full price rebate, so I figured I'd see if I could get some cheap crackers to go with it. A display at the front of the store said you could buy one box of Premium Saltines for $2.69 and get one free. I wasn't crazy about the price but decided it would do, only I wanted to get Unsalted Tops so I went to the cracker aisle and on the shelves they were priced at 2 for $3. I mentioned this to the cashier when the first box rang up at $1.50, and ultimately took her to the obscure display where it stated they were two-for-one for the week ending May 6. So, since she'd already rung up one at the wrong price, the cashier decided to give me both for $1.50.Then I stopped in at Petco where according to their ad you could get a full price rebate on Eukanuba cat food. However after calling in two managers they still couldn't find the rebate forms, so they just let me take the bag for free. They even let me take one of the Petco tennis balls you were supposed to get free with a $5 purchase.
Then I went to the mall to pay a couple of bills, and while I was there I picked up a free Chick-Fil-A grilled chicken sandwich deluxe with the coupon they gave me at the Staples Small Business Open House where I'd gone to use the coupon they mailed me for $15 worth of free stuff. (I bought CD labels.)
