| High School Graduation, Confirmation, Birthday Parties:. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Mixers: | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| For mixers you want 3 parts mixer for 1 part liquor. Here's what that really means: Roughly 1 2 Liter Bottle of Soda for each 750ml (regular size) bottle of liquor. Two 1 liter bottles of Club, Tonic, Bitter Lemon, or Seltzer for each 750 ml bottle of liquor. Roughly 1 6-Pack of soda (12oz Cans) for each bottle of liquor. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| The general rule of thumb for these parties is a Half Keg of beer for 50 people for a four hour party. This assumes that all your having to drink is beer and wine - no liquor or mixed drinks. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Weddings: |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| The general rule of thumb for Weddings is a 1/2 Keg of beer for 100 guests. Even your big beer drinkers go for mixed drinks at weddings so error on the lower side with the beer. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Other: | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| What type of beer should I buy. I generally recommend sticking to a domestic beer (Bud, Coors Light, Yuengling Lager, Miller Light, Michelob, etc.) The cost is reasonable and this is what most people like. I see many imported or micro kegs come back half full because they were too heavy a taste for most guests. Should I do Cases or Kegs? A keg is the best way to go (both taste and price) if your going to drink it all. Once you tap the keg you should drink it within 24 hours or it will start going flat. If your really not sure how many people are comming or you have a below average drinking crowd do the cases. If they don't get used at the party you always have them for later. |

| College Graduations: |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| The general rule of thumb for College Graduations is that you can't possible stock enough for these guys/gals. Actually your better of just suppling beer so your guests won't get too loaded too quickly. For beer, you will probably need a 1/2 Keg of beer for every 30 guests. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
