I first ventured into the cyber world in March 1997. The first thing I did was look for information on my favorite celebrities. I could not believe that there was almost nothing about Richard, not even on celebrity or movie database sites!!! I figured that if he has a presence on the big screen, he deserved a presence on the web. I started learning about web site design. My first site was Helens Hot Males (link below) and then two other sites. Yes, that is right, the Richard Tyson Site began with a scanned cover of Two Moon Junction, and a link to the email group (which I also began).
I knew I could not be the only person in the world who thinks he is HOT. I was wearing out my copy of "Two Moon Junction". Then there was "Hardball" the TV series where he played a cop (Kaz). The long hair, the long coat (sometimes) and the Bike, what more could a woman ask for? I will never forget the pleasant surprise when Richard turned up in Kindergarten Cop.........he may have been the 'bad guy', however (I think) he is great 'bad guy'.
The site slowly grew (very slowly). I did not even know his birthday......I spent hours looking around the net......as the internet grew......so did the information about Richard....... ...then ...a fan sent me the stills from Three o'clock High........ then another fan sent some photos from her magazine collection.........I got emails from other fans and friends (not confirmed) of Richard with info about him......slowly the site grew.
Then in August 2000, after being invited to apply for the job, I received the news that I was appointed - The Official Richard Tyson Fan Site Designer and Manager.
Really great things do happen to people like you and me!! 2007 - Richard now has two more places where you can get news. They are richardtyson.org and of course Richard Tyson at myspace and don't forget to do a search on YouTube....... Helen from the land downunder)!!!!!!
