Description of Project

The project included a book-keeping package for the running requirements of a small business, Ridgewaves Pty. Ltd. This company is a Multiple Occupancy land sharing community at Mullumbimby NSW.

The project consists of a user friendly interface that is accessed by a shortcut item on the desktop. The customised package of software applications is based in Access, with links to other programs.

Buttons on the interface take the user to Forms, Reports and Queries. Forms are used to enter book-keeping records of Income and Expenditure. These buttons also allow the user to bring up Reports for a specific financial year. Queries are available for details and totals of wages, levy payments and goods services purchased.

The data base lists the particulars of the Shareholders and Directors and this is also available in report form.

Back up of records is obtained by clicking the Email Backup button which enables copies of the database tables to be forwarded in excel format to a second computer.
