Approved and Ready to Play!!!!!
The season is over and what a finish to the first ever organized adult league! Thank you to everone who
helped out and contributed to our first year. Next year will be even better as rumor has it we could be at 6 teams!
The season ended in a finale as the #2 Seed Burton Construction got knocked into the Consolation
bracket by #3 Seed Whitetail Tavern during the playoffs by a score of 8 to 3.
In the second playoff game, it was #1 Seed Pinoniemi Chiropractic taking on #4 Seed Leeseberg Cabinets.
In a playoff game of epic status, Leeseberg jumped out to a 5-1 lead right away. Pinoniemi did not
give up as they came back and made it 6-6 at the end of regulation. The shootout went to Leeseberg Cabinets with Dave De La Hunt
and Alex Torkelson scoring during the shootout.
On to the Consolation game where Pinoniemi Chiropractic and Bruton Construction squared off. It was a tight
game until the 3rd period and then Pinoniemi Chiropractic put the icing on the cake beating Burton Construction
by a score of 7-4
Ah, Then the Championship game between Whitetail Tavern and Leeseberg Cabinets. This was also as
super close game all throughout with only one goal between them at almost all times. Then towards the end of the 3rd,
Whitetail Tavern struck again and again to end the game with a 6-3 victory.
I hope everyone enjoyed this season and is willing and ready to come back for another one. We learned
a few things that we can do better next year and will implement those moving forward. We are also trying
to put together and end of season get together at Whitetail Tavern, so stay tuned here for times and dates.
We also encourage anyone intersted in playing on a team and having a good time or even just for exercise, to check us out! Even just coming
to watch the games is a blast...
