On a cold winter day in January 1988, I bought my first 35mm camera, a used Canon AE1. I remember  that day clearly because the exposures I took later were overexposed and blurred.  The plummeting temperature had locked the shutter. Since then I have progressed to more stable equipment.
I still own a Canon, but the F1 (secondhand) and it has worked well over the years. However, not fully mechanical as the earlier model. To added to my collection is a Konica ranger and Minolta Dimage 7

I am not entirely convinced with digital photograph. The danger solely relying on the cameras designer's concept of normal exposures can have disastrous results.
Passages
In the early 1990s I began to document building that were being demolished in Toronto, Canada.  This I believed was the last rite to buildings which was once part of the Torontos urban landscapes of industrys pass.
