I set up the Pioneer 903 to use with the cassette adapter, rather than use the  FM modulated signal.  It sounds GREAT!
I bought this 1999 Cadillac Seville STS in the spring of 2003.  I had my SKYFi in it, but I was waiting for the Pioneer 917.  I gave up waiting and bought a 903.
I removed the back seat.  I placed the Pioneer tuner in a location that will clear the rear seat supports.
I removed the top trim piece with a knife & putty knife.  I made a mounting bracket with layers of 1/8" balsa wood, sanded the curve & painted it. I fished the control cable down the side of the radio. (Tight fit, patience required)
Then I replaced the trim and attached the new bracket and the controller with double stick tape.
I bought a Terk3 antenna and mounted it inside on the metal speaker grill.  The roof is the proper location. I drove R/T from Birmingham to Orlando and had only one drop out. (Not counting covered gas stations)
I added a "pig tail" into the power feed to the lighter socket and connected the red acc. power feed to the Pioneer.  The automatic power shut down to this connection turns "off" the Pioneer about 10 minutes after the car has been shut off.
I connected the yellow, constant power cable to the main power feed of the fuse block.  Just added a nut on the post.  I bought an IP-Bus to RCA adapter, hooked up an in-line volume control, extension cable and connected to the cassette adapter.
Note:  This page shows how I installed XM in my car.  It my not be the proper way to do it and your installation is at your risk.
