Family: Daisy (Comositae)

Note the way the larger leaves narrow obruptly into long, winged petioles. Upper leaves sometimes alternate. Leaves thin; stem smooth. Rays often 10 as scientific name hints.

Height: 2-5 feet

Found: Moist woods, banks and thickets.

Blooms: August-October
