Sweet Joe-Pie Weed
Eupatorium purpureum

Family: Composite or Daisy (Compositae)

Flowers dull, pale, pinkish purple, in a fuzzy, massive, somewhat domed cluster. Stem usualy green, often glaucous (with a slight whitish bloom); purplish or blackish at leaf joints. Leaves usually in whorls of 3 or 4; odor of vanilla when crushed.

Height: 2 to 6 feet

Found: Thicket, woods.

Blooms: July-September
