Family: Spurge (Euphorbiaceae)

Note the numerous, narrow, linear, pale green leaves that suggest its name. The pair of yellowish or greenish "petals" are really bracts. The flowers are inconspicuous.

Height: 6 to 12 inches

Found: Roadsides, cemeteries and vacant lots.

Blooms: April to August
