Family: Heath (Ericaceae)

Smaller than Mountain Laurel, with narrow drooping leaves. Flowers crimson-pink, not terminal; surmounted by newer, upright leaves.

Height: 1-3 feet

Found: Pastures, rocky slopes and swamps.

Blooms: June-July
