I found this rare "white" Cardinal Flower along side the normal red one, on an island on the Hudson River. I photographed the two side by side for comparison that the white one is truely a Cardinal Flower.

Height: 2-4 feet

Found: Wet places, streambanks and swamps.

Blooms: July-September
